CASH CREEK QUARTER HORSES - Sheila Chamulke and Chris Chomik

We live north of Bruce, Alberta where we raise quarter horses.  We also have a herd of angus cows and Chris's newest addition - a herd of longhorns (which are interesting to say the least!)

We own about 10 broodmares - cowhorse bred and running bred.  A few years ago, we were lucky to be able to stand Miss N Cash Bar, and we have quite a few of his fillies that we will be adding to the broodmares at a later date.  We look forward to start competing on his offspring in the near future.  We are also really excited about the cross between "old Cash" mares to "new Cash". (both of their nicknames were "Cash" coincidental or what?)

A former graduate of the Lakeland College Equine program, I have been involved in various elements of the horse industry for many years. I barrel race and Chris team ropes and has started to calf rope. We keep and start all the colts we raise, then promote them in whatever direction they want to go.  It's always exciting to see what each horse is going to be when he/she 'grows up'! 

Our goal at Cash Creek Quarter Horses is to make nice horses that anyone can ride.  We promote barrel horses that run in the 1D, 2D, 3D... wherever they fit.  All our horses get introduced to the roping pen - via heading, heeling or the branding pen. Our horses get "used" a lot. I ride at the auction market we use them to move cattle and some of them even go to a feedlot for extracurricular work.  

* We like nice horses that people can compete on but still use for everyday jobs.
